Above My Eyes
Sreenidhi Prakki
A black dot lingers,
Too loud for the quiet stares–
I pretend to hide.
Mirror shows my gaze,
A weight I don’t understand
but still, I erase.
Years later, I see–
not a stain or a shadow
but a part of me.
A black dot lingers,
Too loud for the quiet stares–
I pretend to hide.
Mirror shows my gaze,
A weight I don’t understand
but still, I erase.
Years later, I see–
not a stain or a shadow
but a part of me.
